Giving Thanks to God Always

A hallmark of Paul's letters is a thanksgiving to God for the "you all", and a commitment to pray for the churches. We are truly grateful to God for Gospel of Grace Fellowship, for their work of faith, labour of love, and patience in hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Membership

As we gather this Sunday for our first official service together as a fully constituted church, we wish to acknowledge those who are formally transferring their membership from Gospel of Grace Fellowship. If you are a member with Gospel of Grace, and have not made your intention known, please confirm to Floyd or Rod. We will include an opportunity to covenant together as part of the service.

The Lord's Table

We will be celebrating the Lord's Supper weekly going forward. The Lord is gracious to us, and knows our weaknesses, and how we are prone to wander. In giving the church the Lord's Supper, Jesus gives us a regular reminder of the Gospel for us. Christ reminds us of His once-for-all sacrifice on our behalf, reminds us of who we are in Christ, reminds us of His goodness toward us, reminds us that He has promised to be with us even to the end of the age, and that he will come again to establish everlasting righteousness.

This Lord's Day

We will begin our series through Thessalonians.
He who calls you is Faithful; He will surely do it.

Rod Amberson will preach on 1 Thessalonians 1:1-5.
